This presentation will discuss the impact of living with cancer through the PsychoSocial Burden of Cancer (see The psychosocial cost burden of cancer: A systematic literature review. Psychooncology. 2020 Nov;29(11):1746-1760)
The psychosocial burden of cancer is a significant, often under-treated, multifactorial stressor affecting 35%–80% of all pesons diagnosed. The purpsose is to discuss the PSC through mental heatlth, physical heatlh, social determinants of health, and finally, how to identify when a person is experincing a PSB of cancer.
