Nominate a CNSA Life Member
Across our community, there are cancer nurses who go above and beyond, contributing their time, expertise and leadership to improve care and strengthen the profession.
CNSA Life Membership is the highest honour awarded by the Society. It recognises individuals who have made a sustained and meaningful contribution to cancer nursing and to CNSA.
Nominations are now open and close 29 April 2026.
Recognising contribution
Life Membership provides an opportunity to formally acknowledge those who have:
- Shown leadership within cancer nursing
- Contributed to the growth and development of CNSA
- Advanced patient care, education, research or advocacy
Often, these contributions happen over many years and across multiple roles, shaping both practice and the broader profession.
Who can be nominated?
To be eligible, nominees must:
- Be a current CNSA voting member
- Have held continuous membership for at least five years
- Have made a significant contribution to CNSA or cancer care
Nominations are confidential and can be submitted by any member.
Many of the people who make a lasting impact don’t seek recognition. If someone comes to mind, we encourage you to put their name forward. Find out more and submit your nomination here.
