New PCC4U case studies bring palliative care into practice

Person-centred communication, care planning and working effectively across the multidisciplinary team are central to both palliative care and cancer nursing. Two new PCC4U case studies provide an opportunity to explore how these principles play out across a person’s care journey.

The new cases follow Zander, a person living with cancer, and Miriam, a person living with COPD. Together they explore person-centred care, communication, multidisciplinary practice and care planning throughout the palliative care journey.

The cases can be worked through in their entirety and will also be available through the PCC4U learning management system as learning packages with supporting activities and resources for educators and students.
