New Clinical Trials Resource Hub to Support Women with Ovarian Cancer

Helping women understand and access clinical trials is crucial to improving outcomes in ovarian cancer care. In response to feedback from women seeking clearer, more tailored information, Ovarian Cancer Australia has launched a new Clinical Trials Resource Hub to support patients, families and clinicians.

Developed in partnership with women with lived experience and clinical experts, the resource aims to:

  • Answer common questions about participating in ovarian cancer clinical trials
  • Provide easy-to-understand, reliable information to complement conversations with clinicians and cancer nurses
  • Improve accessibility, including support for diverse language and literacy needs
  • Empower women to explore trial options with confidence

The hub includes written resources and a recorded webinar Demystifying clinical trials for ovarian cancer - click here to find out more.

As cancer nurses, you play a key role in helping women navigate treatment options and make informed decisions. We encourage you to explore and share this valuable evidence-informed resource with your patients, particularly those considering clinical trial participation.
