eviQ-lution: from a simple local solution to an internationally trusted source

On 7 September, the global cancer community will mark World Radiotherapy Awareness Day under the theme One Voice for Radiotherapy. The day aims to build understanding of the essential role radiation therapy plays in cancer treatment and recognise the multidisciplinary teams who make safe, high-quality radiotherapy care possible.

A second pan-tumour PBS listing is set to improve access to treatment for Australians with rare and less common cancers. From 1 September, pembrolizumab (Keytruda) is available through the PBS for eligible people with advanced or metastatic cancers, marking another important shift towards treatment decisions based on the biology of a cancer rather than solely where it originated.
