CNSA Research Grants Open Next Month

CNSA is proud to announce that our 2025 Research Grants Program will soon be open for applications, with over $60,000 in funding available across two competitive grants. These grants are designed to support cancer nurses to lead, collaborate on, or contribute to research that advances cancer nursing practice and improves outcomes for people affected by cancer.

Are you ready to take your research to the next level?

In 2024, CNSA was proud to award grants to:

  • Nicole Loft: Medic Alerts to provide accessible treatment summaries for Allogeneic HSCT patients: A pilot study to inform a future RCT
  • Andrew Dimech: Development of embedded mental health education for early career cancer nurses

And through our partner organisation BCPAQ, we were thrilled to extend funding further to Benjamin Tan: Nurse-led and GP-supported symptom management program for breast cancer survivors: Co-design and preliminary assessment (BPCAQ Grant)

Their projects are already helping to build a stronger evidence base for cancer nursing and highlight the impact nurses can have through research.

Applications for 2025 will open in mid August and eligibility criteria and full details will be released soon so watch this space – announcements coming via the CNSA newsletter, website, and social media

This is your opportunity to contribute to the future of cancer care through nurse-led research. We encourage all members to apply!
