In an exciting new addition for 2025, CNSA has partnered with the Hunter Breast Education Group (HBEG) and funding partner PKF Sydney and Newcastle to offer an additional $30,000 grant exclusively for CNSA members actively involved in any aspect of breast cancer care who are working in the Hunter and New England Local Health District. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering innovation, supporting local research, and empowering cancer nurses to lead evidence-based change.

Applications for all grant funding will take place through the standard CNSA Research Grant application form and measured against existing criteria. Members are encouraged to read through the information and please note the HBEG eligbility below.

Applications close midnight 2 October 2025.

Are you preparing a research submission and wondering what makes it truly stand out? Dr. Elizabeth Moore, Chair of the Research Standing Committee, along with fellow committee members, held a Q&A session, which included information about grant writing, putting together a proposal, creating a budget, how to improve your application, application scoring, selection criteria, and also provided an opportunity to hear from past recipients about their experiences in research.
