In this session, we explored how clinical trials work and the vital role nurses play in delivering safe, informed, and compassionate care. Participants gained a practical understanding of patient recruitment, what trial participation involves, and how nurses support patients throughout every stage of their journey.
Helping women understand and access clinical trials is crucial to improving outcomes in ovarian cancer care. In response to feedback from women seeking clearer, more tailored information, Ovarian Cancer Australia has launched a new Clinical Trials Resource Hub to support patients, families and clinicians.
This webinar explored the latest evidence and practical strategies for managing complex treatment-related toxicities. It provides cancer nurses with up-to-date insights into the management of high-risk locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC), with a focus on integrating immunotherapy and radiotherapy into practice.
