Why is CNSA holding an election?
Nominations recently closed for the 2025 CNSA Board of Directors. As we received more nominations than there are vacant positions, we are holding an election in accordance with our corporate governance requirements.
How many positions are available?
There are three (3) vacant positions on the Board of Directors.
How many candidates are standing for election?
There are seven (7) candidates standing for election:

- Christine Archer
- Diane Davey *
- Gemma McErlean *
- Justin Hargreaves
- Natasha Keir
- Nicole Gavin
* Denotes a current Director nominating for a second term.
Who can vote in the election?
Only financial members of CNSA are eligible to vote.
How many candidates can I vote for?
As a financial member, you may vote for up to three (3) candidates.
Who is running the election?
CNSA has engaged TrueVote, an independent and verified election platform, to conduct the 2025 Board election securely and anonymously.
How do I vote?
You can vote once only, either via email or SMS (not both). Please read the instructions carefully before voting.
Option 1 – By Email
- You will receive an email from TrueVote.
- Click the unique link provided to access the voting page.
- Follow the instructions to select your preferred candidates and submit your vote.
Option 2 – By SMS
- You will receive an SMS message from TrueVote.
- Click the link in the message.
- Follow the instructions to cast your vote.
You can only vote once. Once submitted, your vote cannot be changed or withdrawn.
Where can I read more about the candidates?
Candidate statements will be available on the TrueVote voting platform when you access your ballot.
Is my vote anonymous?
Yes. All votes submitted through TrueVote are anonymised and secure.
What happens in the case of a tie?
If two or more candidates receive an equal number of votes, the CNSA President shall have a second or casting vote to determine the successful candidate.
When will the results be announced?
Election results will be formally declared by the Company Secretary at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The highest polling candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be elected.
When does voting close?
Voting closes at 12:00pm (midday) AEST on Friday, 6 June 2025.
