The Cancer Survivorship Community of Practice brings together cancer nurses with an interest in survivorship care to connect, share knowledge and build expertise in supporting people beyond their cancer treatment.
The Community of Practice provides a space to explore the unique challenges and opportunities of survivorship care, share experiences and resources, and discuss approaches to symptom management, long-term effects and holistic, patient-centred care across the cancer continuum.
The purpose of this CoP is to:
- Upskill nurses in cancer survivorship, with a focus on symptom management, long-term effects, and holistic, patient-centred care beyond treatment.
- Build a supportive community for nurses involved in survivorship care across the cancer continuum.
- Provide accessible and practical education through multiple formats, including podcasts, webinars, communities of practice, and Congress engagement.
- Increase the visibility of cancer survivorship and available resources within the CNSA membership and the broader cancer nursing community.
- Foster collaboration between CNSA and the nursing workforce to strengthen survivorship care and improve long-term patient outcomes.
