The purpose of the CoP will be to:
- Upskill nurses in cancer survivorship, with a focus on symptom management, long-term effects, and holistic, patient-centred care beyond treatment.
- Build a supportive community for nurses involved in survivorship care across the cancer continuum.
- Provide accessible and practical education through multiple formats, including podcasts, webinars, communities of practice, and Congress engagement.
- Increase the visibility of cancer survivorship and available resources within the CNSA membership and the broader cancer nursing community.
- Foster collaboration between CNSA and the nursing workforce to strengthen survivorship care and improve long-term patient outcomes.
