Sarcoma CoP

Sarcoma is rare, complex and often unpredictable. You might find yourself treating a patient with this unique type of cancer for the first time or for the first time in several years. If you are treating a patient with Sarcoma this CoP is for you.

CNSA is delighted to collaborate with ANZSA to create this new Sarcoma CoP.  If you are looking to gain increased awareness, knowledge, and confidence in managing sarcoma, we invite you to join our community. Together we will strive to share information and support that will lead to improved patient outcomes, reduced anxiety, and enhanced survivorship experiences.

The purpose of the CoP will be to:

  • Upskill nurses in sarcoma-specific symptom management, survivorship, and holistic care.

  • Build a community for sarcoma nurses and nurses caring for patients with sarcoma.

  • Support nurses who may only encounter sarcoma infrequently, but are critical in ongoing care.

  • Provide accessible education through multiple formats (podcasts, webinars, communities of practice, Congress presence).

  • Increase visibility of sarcoma and available resources within the CNSA membership and wider cancer nursing community.
