Breast Cancer CoP

The Breast Cancer CoP is a diverse group of nurses working in all healthcare settings across Australia. Discussions range across all aspects of care, and we share our experiences openly and honestly to improve patient outcomes.

CNSA’s Breast Cancer Community of Practice brings together nurses and healthcare professionals working in breast cancer care across a range of healthcare settings throughout Australia.

The Community of Practice provides a space to connect with colleagues, share experiences and knowledge, and discuss current issues, challenges and opportunities in breast cancer nursing.

Members can take part in regular discussions, presentations from subject matter experts, evidence and guideline updates, conference insights and opportunities to share resources and best practice.

Whether you are new to breast cancer nursing or an experienced practitioner, all CNSA members with an interest in breast cancer care are welcome to join the conversation and contribute to the community.

The purpose of the CoP is to:

  • Build knowledge and expertise in breast cancer nursing and the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Connect nurses and healthcare professionals working across breast cancer care and foster a supportive professional community.
  • Share knowledge, experiences and resources to support best practice and enhance clinical care.
  • Provide opportunities for education and professional development through discussions, presentations from subject matter experts, evidence and guideline updates, and conference insights.
  • Explore current issues and emerging developments in breast cancer care and their impact on nursing practice.
  • Foster collaboration and encourage the sharing of ideas, experiences and best practice across the cancer nursing community.
