Cancer is increasing in younger populations. Discover the drivers, the diagnostic challenges, and why earlier detection has never been more important.
Join our NSW Hunter State Group dinner event at NOAH's on the Beach in Newcastle for an engaging evening exploring the rising prevalence and mortality of cancer diagnoses in younger populations.
Through expert presentations and real-world case studies, Prevalence and Mortality in Younger Populations will examine the increasing incidence of cancer in people under 50, with a focus on breast, colorectal, and pancreatic cancers. The session will explore the rising mortality in this age group, the multifactorial drivers contributing to this trend—including lifestyle, metabolic, environmental, and genetic factors—and the challenges associated with delayed diagnosis, unique tumour biology, and the need for earlier detection and preventive strategies.
