Radiation oncology nursing course - eviQ releases Module 3

Content focusses on five key areas of RO nursing practice:

1. Multidisciplinary care – understanding team roles and communication pathways
2. Patient education – supporting patient learning and informed consent
3. Patient assessment – conducting holistic, evidence-based assessments
4. Patient management – implementing and documenting care and escalation plans
5. Clinical support – applying safety and monitoring protocols for complex procedures (e.g. cardiac implantable electronic devices [CIEDs], contrast media, internal eye shields and concurrent systemic anticancer therapies).

Develop confidence in assessment, communication and coordination skills that directly improve patient outcomes and team collaboration.
