Online sessions for carers

CarerHelp are offering online sessions for CARERS who are caring for someone towards the end of life. If you have carers who may benefit, please refer them to our register page below.

Caring for someone who is dying can be difficult and often carers report that they felt unprepared. CarerHelp is now offering monthly free online sessions for carers on a range of topics including:

  • Preparing for caring as illness advances (Presented by Molly Carlile AM, palliative care specialist)
  • Preparing for caring: The last few weeks (Presented by Molly Carlile AM, palliative care specialist)
  • Living beyond loss: Finding your way through grief (Presented by Chris Hall AM, grief specialist)

See upcoming dates and how to register here.

These online sessions will complement the range of CarerHelp online resources (factsheets, videos, carer kits) that are freely available to all carers across Australia who are caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. You can also download a range of carer resources or order carer resources, postcards and posters.
