New Gather My Crew resources to help your patients share the load

Gather My Crew has new tools, videos and in-service sessions to help you start conversations about informal care and connect patients with practical help from family and friends.

Many people with cancer have friends and family who want to help but don’t know how, and patients often find it hard to ask. Gather My Crew is a free app and website that makes it easy to coordinate practical support. They’ve just released a bundle of new resources for health professionals.

What’s new

  • Informal care questions to help you start conversations about who’s around a person and what support they need.
  • New education videos on coordinated informal care, common barriers to asking for help, and how to use Gather My Crew in practice.
  • New physical tools that help people identify what support they need. Expressions of interest are open now.
  • A TV slide for waiting rooms and patient information screens.
  • Refreshed brochures and posters, since the new app and branding launched in June. If you still have old-branded materials, they’ll post you a fresh pack.
