New eviQ Resource Launch: Supporting and Managing Family Carers – The eTRIO Program

The eTRIO program has been designed to provide oncology health professionals with practical strategies and skills to use when interacting with family carers.

The modules present strategies for including family carers in consultations and supporting their emotional and informational needs. It contains strategies to help navigate challenging situations with a patient and their family carer - including when strong emotions such as anger arise and how to manage family conflict.

The program is based on the TRIO guideline, which were rigorously developed and underwent a Delphi Consensus process with International experts.
