Today, on World Cancer Day 2026, the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia (CNSA) and the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) proudly launch a joint Position Statement on The Contribution of Nurses to Cancer Survivorship Care in Australia.
CNSA, in collaboration with the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) is developing a Position Statement on the Role of Nurses in Cancer Survivorship Care. We are now seeking feedback from members on the draft statement. Your voice is essential to ensure this reflects real-world practice and the needs of our profession and the people we care for.
CNSA’s partner Slater and Gordon will be providing a series of information pieces and case studies designed to support members in recognising when their patients may benefit from legal advice and advocacy. We know that nurses are always looking for ways to support their patients and their families — being informed about their ability to make a claim could make a huge difference.
