Join a CNSA Committee - Nominations Now Open

If you've been looking for an opportunity to become more involved with CNSA, now is the time.

We're seeking passionate cancer nurses to join our State Group Committees and Specialist Practice Networks, with opportunities currently available across New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria & Tasmania, and Western Australia, as well as within our Gynaecological Oncology Nurses and Vascular Access Devices & Infusion Therapy Specialist Practice Networks.

Whether you'd like to share your expertise, connect with colleagues in your region or contribute to education and initiatives that support fellow cancer nurses, serving on a State Group Committee or Specialist Practice Network is a rewarding way to make a difference.

Why join a Committee?
Committee

Connect with the cancer nursing community. Committee involvement provides the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other cancer nurses, gaining insight into the challenges, opportunities and evolving needs of the profession. Build connections with colleagues who share your passion for improving cancer care.

Build meaningful professional relationships. Being part of a CNSA Committee brings together people with shared interests and a commitment to advancing cancer nursing. Many Committee members develop lasting professional connections and friendships through their involvement.

Have a voice and make a difference. As a Committee member, you can help identify and prioritise the issues that matter most to cancer nurses. Your experience, knowledge and perspective help inform CNSA initiatives and ensure we continue to advocate for the needs of our members.

Share knowledge and support education. A key role of our State Groups and Specialist Practice Networks is to facilitate education, develop resources and provide professional development opportunities for cancer nurses. Supported by the CNSA National Office, Committees provide valuable local expertise and clinical insights to help ensure our activities reflect the needs of the membership.

What's involved?

A little time can make a big difference. Most Committee members contribute around 2-4 hours per month including Committee meetings and occasional email communication. Commitment may vary throughout the year depending on activities such as educational events, projects or other initiatives. If you ask our current Committee members, the events are often the best part!

Applications close at 5pm AEST on Friday 21 August.

Be part of our story and apply to join a CNSA State Group Committee or Specialist Practice Network today. We can't wait to see what we'll achieve together!
