Help shape the national clinical guidelines for early-onset colorectal cancer

The Australian Living Evidence Collaboration (ALEC) in collaboration with Bowel Cancer Australia are developing new national clinical practice guidelines for early-onset colorectal Cancer (EOCRC).

As a part of this work, we are seeking input from those involved in caring for people with early-onset bowel cancer including: healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, and people living with or beyond early-onset bowel cancer and their partners/carers (someone who has/had EOCRC; has known risk factors for EOCRC; provides care for or is a family, friend or partner or someone who has EOCRC).

We invite you to complete a brief (5-10 minute) online survey to help identify and prioritise the topics that should be addressed in these guidelines.

The survey focuses on the diagnosis and management of EOCRC and asks you to consider:

  • topics with the highest uncertainty in clinical practice
  • areas likely to have the biggest impact on patient outcomes
  • topics where evidence is evolving or practice is changing
The survey will take 5–10 minutes to complete and your participation is voluntary, anonymous, and very much appreciated. Your collective responses will help us shape the clinical guideline and the order of clinical topics developed over the months ahead.

To tell us what you think, please complete the survey (here) before the 6th of May. Clicking the survey link indicates that you consent to participate in this research project.
