eviQ updates protocol administration sections
Key improvements include:
- Standardised headings to help users quickly find the information they need.
- A revised drug administration format for a more consistent experience across protocols.
- Updated IV line information aligned with product information and the Australian Injectable Drugs Handbook (AIDH), 10th Edition.
- Updated infusion-related reaction (IRR) guidance aligned with Australian product information and ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines.
As part of this work, significant updates to eviQ allogeneic conditioning protocols are also underway. Administration sections within these protocols currently remain in the previous format and will be updated as part of the broader review.
Importantly, eviQ is asking clinicians who regularly use these protocols to help shape the next stage. Cancer nurses are encouraged to spend around five minutes reviewing the updated format and providing feedback before Monday 19 October 2026. As some of the most frequent users of eviQ protocols in clinical practice, nursing feedback will be particularly valuable in ensuring the format remains practical and fit for purpose.
