Empowering nurses and improving lives: How expanding nursing practice can optimise outcomes in CML

As of 1 September 2026, nurse practitioners have been able to prescribe PBS-listed medicines for chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) as a continuation of an existing therapy, where care is shared with a medical practitioner.
