Contribute to the Optimal Care Pathway for People with Disability

Cancer Council Australia is inviting expressions of interest for the development of a new Optimal Care Pathway (OCP) for People with Disability, with just one week remaining to get involved.

There has been strong national interest to date, and further participation is encouraged across a range of disciplines and locations. In particular, interest is still being sought from:

  • Oncologists
  • Psychologists
  • Palliative care professionals
  • Nurses
  • Individuals based in Tasmania, the Northern Territory, and the ACT

This is an important opportunity to contribute to shaping more inclusive, equitable cancer care for people living with disability. Expressions of interest can be submitted via the Cancer Council Australia website under Expression of Interest for the Optimal Care Pathway for people with disability. Submissions close Monday 6 April 2026.

The first working group meeting is scheduled for late May 2026.

This initiative is part of the Cancer Patient Support Program and is funded by the Australian Government. For further information or support, please contact: [email protected]
