Connect with Your Community of Practice at Congress!

We’re excited to host a series of Community of Practice (CoP) gatherings during the CNSA Annual Congress—your opportunity to connect, collaborate and grow alongside cancer nursing peers who share your interests. Join us and network with members across our Melanoma CoP, our Management / Nurse Executive CoP, or our Nurse Educator CoP. It's a fantastic time to meet people in real life that you generally connect with virtually.

Melanoma CoP  – Thursday, lunchtime

In collaboration with Melanoma Institute Australia and Melanoma Patients Australia

Join us for an interactive Melanoma CoP workshop designed to sharpen your skills in critically appraising research papers and confidently preparing for journal club discussions. This session will provide practical tools, tips, and frameworks to help you read between the lines, ask the right questions, and contribute meaningfully to evidence-based discussions. Come ready to learn, share, and build confidence in interpreting research with your peers!

Management / Nurse Executive CoP – Thursday, lunchtime

If you're working in leadership, management, or executive roles, don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow nursing leaders. Share insights and challenges, explore strategies for workforce sustainability, and discuss emerging issues in health service delivery and nursing leadership.

Nurse Educator CoP – Friday, Meet and Greet at the CNSA Booth

Calling all nurse educators! Join us at the CNSA Booth on Friday for an informal meet and greet. This is a great opportunity to share ideas, resources, and connect with others who are passionate about education in cancer nursing.

For full details on session locations and times, refer to the Congress Program and App.

While you're at Congress, visit the CNSA Booth to ensure your CNSA profile is up to date and that you're registered for the CoPs most relevant to your practice.

Coming Soon – We're currently in discussions to establish new Communities of Practice in Rare and Less Common Cancers and Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancers. Watch this space for updates as we expand our professional networks!

Being part of a Community of Practice is a powerful way to grow your expertise, share knowledge, and shape the future of cancer nursing together. Don’t miss your chance to get involved!z
