Unlock Your Potential - CNSA 2026 Mentoring Program Applications Now Open!

We're thrilled to announce that applications for the 2026 Mentoring Program are NOW OPEN, offering a unique opportunity for early-career cancer nurses across Australia to connect with experienced mentors and grow both professionally and personally.

Designed for cancer nurses ready to challenge themselves, amplify their capabilities and reach their full potential, the seven-month program of learning, reflection and development is limited to just 20 mentor/mentee pairs, and we strongly encourage members to apply early.

The mentoring program provides structured guidance across key areas such as career pathways, leadership, communication, resilience, and navigating the complexities of cancer care. Participants also benefit from a safe and engaged cohort environment, opportunities to build professional networks, and support to reconnect with their passion for cancer nursing.

This year CNSA is partnering with Brancher, a cutting-edge mentoring platform that pairs mentees and mentors based on compatibility and supports them through their mentoring journey.

Mentees will be paired with experienced cancer nursing mentors, creating partnerships designed to nurture confidence, clarify career direction, and develop skills that are essential for a rapidly evolving cancer nursing landscape. Mentors also benefit through fresh perspectives, new professional connections, and the satisfaction of supporting emerging leaders in the field.

This carefully designed program supports individual career progression for both mentees and mentors, while strengthening the broader cancer nursing community. Participants will explore practical and relevant topics including:
