Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program Newsletter

The third edition of the ACNNP Newsletter shares exciting updates as the program continues to expand cancer services and strengthen connections across Australia.

Recent highlights include the placement of 41 Cancer Care Nurses in health services nationwide, the McGrath Foundation’s development of a national “Find a Nurse” tool, and Cancer Council’s co-design of culturally safe navigation services with First Nations leadership. Service partners also connected at the CNSA & ICCN Congress, reinforcing collaboration across the sector.

The edition spotlights the launch of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program, ongoing work to enhance specialist support services, and the role of Cancer Hub in supporting families impacted by childhood cancer.
