We are seeking an experienced and passionate cancer nurse to provide expert care, leadership and support within our Oncology Day Unit's Symptom & Urgent Review Clinic (SURC).
The Contract: Fixed Term Parental Leave contract, 40 hours per fortnight until 11th April 2027.
The Position:
As the SURC Registered Nurse, you will be a trusted point of contact for patients receiving cancer treatment, providing expert support, education and follow-up throughout their care journey. Working collaboratively with oncology specialists and multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure patients receive the right care at the right time while delivering the best care experience, every time.
The Ideal Applicant Will Demonstrate:
- Post Graduate Qualification in Cancer Nursing and at least five years' cancer nursing experience.
- Advanced knowledge of cancer nursing practice and Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy.
- Sound clinical judgement and the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in education, quality improvement and service development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong multidisciplinary relationships.
