This is the community for cancer nurses who are interested in learning, collaborating, and sharing information to strengthen national practice and knowledge in relation to gastro-intestinal cancers.
The Australian Living Evidence Collaboration (ALEC), in collaboration with Bowel Cancer Australia, is developing new national clinical practice guidelines for the early diagnosis and management of early-onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC).
Earlier this year, they asked for feedback via survey to identify the clinical topics where guidance is most urgently needed and likely to have the greatest impact on care and outcomes. As an extension of this work, they are now conducting a national baseline evaluation survey to better understand how health professionals are currently making clinical decisions in the care of patients with EOCRC.
ALEC have sought our support to help distribute the online survey. The findings will directly inform the development and implementation of the Australian EOCRC clinical practice guidelines.
The survey will be open until the 9th of August.
