Drawing on her clinical and research experience at Westmead Hospital, Dr Ruiz Araujo will share insights into the cutaneous effects of cancer therapies. Designed for nurses this session will highlight evolving approaches to skin cancer diagnosis, treatment and patient care.

Dr Raquel Ruiz Araujo is a Consultant Dermatologist at Westmead Hospital, where she practices in both General Dermatology and Dermato-Oncology clinics. Her clinical and research interests include cutaneous adverse effects of oncological therapies, melanoma, reflectance confocal microscopy, and multi-omics research.
She is a member of Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Ltd (Former ANZMTG) which coordinates and conducts quality research for melanoma , principal investigator for The Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging & Diagnosis (ACEMID) study at Westmead Hospital (ACEMID) , clinical lecturer and supervisor in Dermatology for the University of Sydney and for the Australasian College of Dermatology.
