Toxic Clues: An Immunotherapy Investigation is an interactive, face-to-face education workshop designed for nurses working in oncology day units/treatment centres, inpatient wards, or other clinical settings where they care of people receiving immunotherapy for any cancer type.

The workshop aims to strengthen cancer nurses' knowledge, confidence, and clinical reasoning in recognising and responding to immune-related adverse events. The program combines expert-led presentations with case-based discussion and practical clinical content, taking participants from the foundations of immunotherapy toxicity through to more comlex presentations and real-world nursing challenges. A strong emphasis is placed on translating knowledge into everyday nursing practice.

Participants will work through clinical scenarios, explore the nursing assessment and escalation of potential toxicities, and consider the 'grey zones' where symptoms may be subtle or difficult to interpret. Interactive components, including facilitated case discussions, a nursing panel and an immunotherapy-themed escape room, provide opportunities for nurses to apply their learning, share experiences and develop practical approaches they can take back to their clinical settings.
