The Treat (Therapeutic Relaxation and Enhanced Awareness Training) ‘Rest and Recovery’ sessions have been specifically designed to support healthcare staff in managing the pressures and demands of working in healthcare, and finding ways to relax and recover physically, cognitively and emotionally. Jo has published her work in peer reviewed journals and delivers Treat sessions weekly to The Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre. She has presented her work and Treat sessions to the Alfred Health cancer nursing teams, executive cancer program meetings, and the national haematology research forums.

This Treat session will include guided techniques that target the body’s stress response and help support and nourish nervous system regulation, attention, and recovery. These sessions offer a rare opportunity to downshift, physiologically reset, and build lasting habits that help protect against vital exhaustion. This is protected time to pause, rest and restore.

Join us for 60min of relaxation followed by refreshments and opportunity to bathe in the effects with your fellow cancer nurse colleagues.

Therapeutic Relaxation and Enhanced Awareness Training, or ‘TREAT’®, is an evidence-based program that has been delivering successful organisational support programs since 2014. Designed to help individuals and teams recharge, restore vitality, and strengthen connections, TREAT® empowers participants to lead with greater clarity, innovate effectively, foster care, and achieve a sense of calm.
