Professional Development Grant

CNSA Professional Development Grant
Professional development grants are available to cancer nurses with five years or more practice in cancer care. Three grants up to the value of $1500 each for continuing professional development initiatives will be awarded which may include conference attendance, site visits and education. Travel Grants

CNSA Novice Cancer Nurses Travel Grant
Travel grants are available to nurses who have been working as a cancer nurse for less than five years to attend CNSA Annual Congress. The CNSA deems this investment in new cancer nurses as a strategic action to support emerging leaders and to maintain a sustainable and robust professional organisation. Ipsen Travel Grant
Ipsen travel grants are available up to the value of $1500 each to provide funding for two CNSA members to attend the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia Annual Congress. Click here to download an application form​. Closing date: 19 February 2016.

CNSA Travel Grant - SA Members
One grant up to the value of $2000 is available for CNSA members in SA to attend the CNSA Annual Congress. Funded by the CNSA SA Regional Group. Click here to download an application form.​ Closing date: 19 February 2016.​

CNSA Travel Grant - WA Members
Two grants are available for CNSA members up to the value of $1500 each, in WA to attend the CNSA Annual Congress. Funded by the CNSA WA Regional Group. Click here to download an application form.​ Closing date: 19 February 2016.

Cancer Council Victoria (CCV) Breast Care Nurses Travel Grant - VIC Members
Two grants are available up to the value of $1500 each for CNSA members in Victoria who primarily care for people affected by breast cancer, to attend the CNSA Annual Congress. Funded by Cancer Council Victoria. Click here to download an application form.​ Closing date: 19 February 2016.​

CNSA Travel Grant - NSW Hunter Members
Two grants are available for CNSA NSW Hunter members up to the value of $500 each to attend the CNSA Annual Congress. This grant is supported and administered by the CNSA NSW Hunter Regional Group. Click here to download an application form.​ Closing date: 19 February 2016.​

Special Project Grant

CNSA Special Project Grant
CNSA has allocated a total of $15,000 towards Special Projects that will advance the mission, strategic aims and values of the CNSA. These grants are only open to all existing CNSA groups including Standing Committees, Regional Groups and Specialist Practice Networks. Other Grants Available

SA Regional Group Professional Development and Travel Grants (local)
Two grants for CNSA rural members and four grants for CNSA metropolitan members in South Australia are available to attend the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) Annual General Meeting – June 23-25, 2016. This grant is supported and administered by the CNSA SA Regional Group. Applicants must complete a CNSA SA RG Development & Travel Grant Application Form in accordance with the guidelines for applicants. Closing date: 24 March 2016.​

WA Regional Group Travel Grant (local)
The WA Regional Group Travel Grant will be awarded towards the receipted cost of accommodation and travel to attend a CNSA WA Regional Group educational event in Perth. Applicants must complete a CNSA WA RG Professional Development & Travel Grant Application Form in accordance with the Guidelines for Applicants. This grant is supported and administered by the CNSA WA Regional GroupClosing date: 4 weeks prior to the event.

Research Grant

Annual CNSA Research Grant
CNSA offers a Research Grant Program to support the development of cancer nursing. The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance to nurses to facilitate research in the area of cancer nursing that will contribute to improvements in the care of people with cancer.
