Outcome Standards for Cancer Nursing Practice
This publication provides nurses with a framework for evaluating their practice and developing best practice guidelines for their work situation.
NOTE: The Outcomes Standards have been replaced by the EdCan framework competencies, which can be accessed via the Cancer Learning Website.
Australian Standards for Specialist Cancer Nursing Education Programs
A National Professional Development Framework for Cancer Nursing has been developed under the auspices of the EdCaN project. This framework can be downloaded here

NOTE:The CNSA Executive Committee on review of the current Position Statement on the Minimum Safe Handling and Education Requirements for the Administration of Cytotoxic Agents have made the decision to develop two position statements Recommendations for Minimum Safe Handling Requirements for the Administration of Cytotoxic Agents Recommendations for the Minimum Education Requirements for the Administration of Cytotoxic Agents. The Position Statements will be published in the June AJCN and for distribution at Winter Congress in July 2010. Meanwhile the current Position Statement is still available via our web site until this date. |
